Prologue. St. Petersburg

While the rail tour starts on Thursday, we recommend you to arrive beforehands, especially if this is your first time in Russia. We would be glad to show you the "non-rail" beauties of the Northern Venice, which are not to be missed.

Ruskeala Express Scheduled Heritage Train

Chapter 1. Ruskeala Express

Our adventure will begin from Ruskeala Express experience - the beautiful heritage train running in Northern part of Russia between Sortavala and Ruskeala nature park.

Russian Railways museum experience

Chapter 2. Russian Railway museum

Next and more relaxed day will be dedicated to the beautiful Russian Railway museum, one of Europe's largest railway museums, featuring hundreds of hidden gems you never heard of.

Rusian Steam Heritage Tour

Chapter 3. Seliger lake steam train

Getting up early in the morning, we will get to Bologoe-Polotsk rural railway. Seliger scheduled steam train will take us to Ostashkov at the Seliger lake.

St Petersburg Steam Train experience

Chapter 4. St Petersburg steam tour

The last day will be dedicated to the steam tour to one of St. Petersburg Summer residences.

Russian steam enthusiasts railway tour

Epilogue. Transsiberian

If you wish, we would take you to Moscow and Transsiberian all the way down to China or Vladivostok, stopping by the Baikal lake for the famous steam-hauled Round-Baikal Express
